The campus is located about 2 km (1 ¼ miles) outside the city centre and can be reached easily by public transport.
How to get to Heidelberg
Coming from the A 5, change to the A 656 direction Heidelberg at the motorway intersection Heidelberg; coming from the A 6, change to the A656 at the motorway intersection Mannheim.
By Train Heidelberg Main Station:

How to get to the "Neuenheimer Feld"
Coming from the motorway:
- Coming from the A5 freeway (Heidelberger Kreuz exit), follow the signs for the Uni-Klinikum. Cross the Neckar River on the Ernst-Walz-Brücke (Berliner Straße) and turn left at the traffic light after the Shell gas station into Im Neuenheimer Feld.
- Coming from Handschuhsheim follow Berliner Straße, pass DKFZ on the right and turn right at the next traffic light into Im Neuenheimer Feld.
- Coming from Neckargemünd, follow Uferstraße on the right bank, turn into Posseltstraße, then turn right into Berliner Straße. At the traffic light after the Shell gas station turn left into Im Neuenheimer Feld.
After following the road for 800m, parking is available opposite the Kopfklinik. In addition, parking spaces are available at the entrance to Im Neuenheimer Feld in the parking garage of the Mathematikon.
Public Transport to the "Neuenheimer Feld":
From Heidelberg main station take tram line 24 (direction: Handschuhsheim) to the Bunsengymnasium or Technologiepark stop.
From the old city center take bus line 31 (direction: Neuenheim, Chirurgische Klinik), departing at University Square or Bismarckplatz to the Bunsengymnasium or Technologiepark stop (Neuenheimer Feld).
Cross Berliner Straße and follow the street Im Neuenheimer Feld. The campus is about 5 min walk away.
